My godfather has one. An A310 with a factory GT pack, the V6 one. Lots of fun and definitly a cheaper solution if you can't afford a 911 of the same era. Been thinking about buying one for myself for a while, but I think I would rather wather save for an A610.

I like the looks of the 310 GT better than the 610...it is just so 80's fender fantastic. I think it would be cool to swap some type of small turbo V6 in it.

It's been done already with the GTA V6 Turbo. It's basically an evolved version of the A310, it's also been used as a base for the A610. Almost bought one last year but went with the corvette instead.
